Styling My Boyfriend - Worn Oiled Timbs
Todays' post is something a little different, but I’m really excited about it. I've finally got my boyfriend, Ethan to feature in one of my style posts. Photography is a huge passion of mine, so to be on the other side of the camera for once was exciting. I don’t think Ethan did too bad at being a model either!
So for this post I styled him and I wanted to go for a simple look. Having his Timberlands be the main focus of this outfit - with a kind of, you know #AllBlackEverything vibe lol.
Firstly, the snapback is from Mitchell and Ness. This epitomises Ethans' style, so there had to be a snapback in this look. But it also gives that street-style edge, which I love. Next I added a simple white tee from Topman, to break up the black a little. I then paired the tee with plain black, straight leg jeans, also from Topman.
Then I thought that an all black jacket would be perfect. It’s also from Topman and I just love it! The main body material is a felt fabric, then the arms are faux leather. I really like the pairing of different materials into one garment, as it adds some texture and individuality to it.
Finally, on to the main part of this outfit - the Timberlands. I wanted them to be the statement piece in this look. They’re the Men’s Heritage Classic 6-Inch Premium Waterproof Boot, in the colour Burnt Orange Worn Oiled. I think that these boots are unique and definitely give off a different feel to most Timberland styles. As we’re all so used to seeing the classic peanut shade.
As I said earlier photography is a huge passion of mine, as well as fashion and style. So pairing the two together and having my fave person as the subject was really exciting for me.
