I thought I would share another one of my 'outfit of the day' posts, as I have definitely been trying to get in the summery spirit. Although, I'll admit these shots were taken just before the heatwave really began - now I can't even be bothered to do my make-up properly at the moment.
But on this particular day I felt like channeling a pastel vibe. So I wore my Zara t-shirt, which has cream and black lettering on it. I then paired this t-shirt with my Missguided, longline nude jersey midi skirt. This skirt had positives and negatives, as I loved it because it was so tight and really sucked everything in. But on the other hand, it was a double edge sword, because it was a little difficult to walk in, as it was SO tight lol. I then accessorised this simple look with my Céline Shadow, Black and Tort/Brown Gradient sunglasses. Which are amazing and I'm so lucky to have found these, as I have been searching all over the UK for them. But I actually found that they sold them on an Australian website, called Sunglass Connection. I also used my Zara, grey reversible shopper bag. This fits everything I need for a day out but is still very light. Usually, I carry around such heavy bags, but I just can't do it this summer! Finally, I wore my Marc by Marc Jacobs, Rivera watch in Gold. I have had this watch for a couple of years now and still love it just as much as I did when I first got it. It just brings that pop of subtle colour to neutral outfits.
You can't really see my make-up in that much detail, but I had two things on that was pretty new to my make-up looks. The first was on my eyelids and that was my M.A.C blusher in the colour Melba. I don't own a matte pink eyeshadow, so I decided to give this a try and I absolutely loved it. It just gave that pop of colour to my make-up and really complimented my outfit. I then used my M.A.C lipstick in the colour Kinda Sexy, and that was the first time I properly wore it out; apart from testing it for my previous blog post. It is now my new favourite lipstick as the colour is so subtle, but complimentary to most outfit colour schemes. It is also such a beautiful matte texture, but is still so hydrating on the lips - so I am now in complete love with it!
Anyway guys, I hope you are enjoying my new found love for 'outfit of the day' blog posts, as there will be lots more to come. Let me know what you have been wearing in this ridiculously hot weather, and if you still bother to make the full effort.
My photographer for the day was definitely looking fresh! I had to steal the snapback and sport it - I wanted to look equally as cool!
