My Ultimate Moisturiser
Having combination skin made me wonder whether I even needed a moisturiser for ages! But after doing extensive research, I found out that everyone needs extra moisture added into their skin. So for this post I wanted to share with you my ultimate moisturiser. As I’ve loved it for over four years now and can honestly say that it works.
I came across the Bobbi Brown, Hydrating Face Cream when I was getting so many dry patches when applying foundation. It really confused and got to me, because as far as I was concerned I had quite oily skin. So I didn’t know where the dryness was coming from. Part of it was that I rarely exfoliated, the other problem was because I didn’t use moisturiser at all.
So I’d heard a lot of great things about Bobbi Browns’ skincare and had a consultation. The make-up artist was so helpful and recommended that I tried their Lathering Tube Soap along with their Hydrating Face Cream. After using the two products, I noticed a huge difference in my skins’ texture and I haven’t stopped using them since.
The Hydrating Face Cream has a smooth and lightweight texture. But somehow manages to give the skin maximum moisture. I love that this cream can be used in both the day or night. My preference is to use it as the last step in my nighttime skincare routine. As I love how silky and hydrated my skin feels in the morning. But for someone with a more dry skin, this is perfect to layer underneath make-up.
Also guys, this cream does an amazing job at taking down any pigmentation that you may have. After doing my skincare routine, my face gets quite red. But as soon as I apply this cream the redness goes down dramatically. It’s also helped to permanently get rid of some redness I had on my cheek bone area too. Caffeine is a great ingredient for pigmentation issues. So if you suffer with that, then make sure to look for Caffeine when purchasing new skincare products.
I don’t know why I’m only just sharing this with you guys! As it’s been my go-to moisturiser for four years, like I mentioned earlier. But I’d love to know what your favourite moisturiser is, so be sure to leave me a comment.
